Nadia creates painterly images that combine various mediums. Sometimes purely photographic, other times utilising her skill as a traditional artist she applies washes, paints, chalk to the constructed images. Often the original photograph virtually disappears to give a more painterly poetic interpreted view of the world.

Aesthetica Magazine writes 'Nadia Attura works with layering techniques to create complex compositions. Often grappling with ideas of idealism and paradise, the bright images are multifaceted tableaux, combining unexpected objects, settings and colours to construct uncanny depictions of desirable destinations." Nadia's artwork has been selected and exhibited at The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2019 and 2016. She was one of the five finalists of the VAO. In 2018 her work was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
